Before this, Casey spent close to four years writing for a couple of UK entertainment and trivia sites, covering everything from quiz-night questions to weekly pub-trivia roundups — the sort of writing that trains you to spot a clever wordplay trick from a mile off, which turned out to be exactly the right background for this job.
Based in Leeds, Casey solves each day's Connections before sitting down to write it up, working out which category is the real trap and which decoy word is going to catch people out, before building the hint ladder around it.
